Spice up your Breakfast with Krinos Feta

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not indulge and make this deluxe – yet simple – breakfast sandwich with Krinos Goat Milk Feta Cheese! This recipe is the third of four recipes in our Krinos Feta Cheese Recipes series.

Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich

This breakfast sandwich seems simple and mundane but with the flavourful bursts of Krinos feta cheese it is anything but boring. This sandwich takes 5 minutes to put together and gives you a healthy dose of protein, from the egg and cheese, carbohydrates from the whole grain or gluten free bread, and healthy fats from the egg and avocado, if you choose to use it.

Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich with Krinos Feta CHeese


  • 1 Egg
  • 1 TSP butter
  • ¼ Cup Krinos Goats Milk Feta, crumbled
  • 1 small handful greens
  • 2 pieces of bread, I use gluten free (or English Muffin)
  • 1 TSP Sriracha
  • 1 TSP Ketchup (optional)

Optional toppings:

  • Avocado
  • Tomato
  • Bacon


In a bowl, whisk egg with a fork until frothy. In a small pan, heat and melt butter, over medium heat. Pour whisked egg into pan. While egg is cooking, sprinkle on the feta cheese.

While egg is cooking, toast your bread.

When bread is toasted, top with greens, place cooked egg on greens and drizzle sriracha and ketchup on and any additional toppings. Close your sandwich up with your other piece of toast and enjoy!
