Already receiving rave reviews, this “farm to fork” eatery is headed up by Chef Giles Edwards. After having spent 10 years in the UK working with Fergus Henderson at the iconic restaurant St. John, Chef Giles returned to Cape Town last year to open up La Tête, a French inspired menu with emphasis on building a relationship and working directly with producers.
Chef Giles’ dishes will use and feature the entire animal, leaving nothing to waste. This includes the feature dishes such as mussels with bacon and cider, roast shallots, mint and pork terrine, hake, chard and anchovy, beef and kidney pudding and ox heart with chips and horseradish.
Stop by and try the delicious menu for yourself! La Tête is open for lunch between Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 2:30pm and dinner between Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 11pm. The restaurant is located in a 1930s art deco style building at 17 Bree Street, Cape Town.
