South Africa’s favourite creamer, NESTLÉ CREMORA will spread cheer this graduation season, with the launch of the #MakeMoreMemories campaign.

The initiative, which launches on the anniversary of COVID-19 lockdown is meant to inspire consumers with positive energy as they reflect on a challenging past year.  As a result of the COVID-19 restrictions, many people missed out on experiencing and sharing memorable occasions with loved ones, including celebrations of social and religious celebrations, graduations, weddings, baby showers and other notable functions.

To coincide with the anniversary of the Disaster Management announcement, the brand sponsored an intimate graduation ceremony for one of its consumers Khanyisile Mkhize (Khanyi), allowing the young graduate to create new memories albeit delayed.

Khanyi’s story was then well documented through a Social Media documentary that showcases the importance of the milestone especially in the lives of young people who study hard to obtain their qualifications. Through the documentary, we experience how Khanyi and her family were still able to #MakeMoreMemories by still honouring this momentous occasion with her.

“NESTLÉ CREMORA has been instrumental in supporting South African consumers create memories.  From major celebrations to intimate coffee and tea moments, we have been consistently present on the journey with most consumers and we know how devastating the last year was for most of them. We therefore, wanted to use the graduation season to remind them that making memories no matter how big or small, is still as important and we were able to capture the story beautifully through Khanyi’s graduation,” said Nicole Roos, Business Executive Officer, Coffee and Beverages, Nestlé South Africa.

Over the next few weeks NESTLÉ CREMORA will be providing the same opportunity to people like Khanyi, by giving them an opportunity to share their graduation stories online and stand a chance to win a graduation experience worth R10 000 in compliance with all the COVID – 19 regulations that are applicable at that time.

“After graduating, there were so many things I was looking forward to: simple things like taking my graduation photographs with my parents, dressing up and obviously celebrating with family and friends.  Due to the pandemic, we have had to move on and miss out on such important memories, so I was grateful to have had the opportunity to be chosen by NESTLÉ CREMORA as an intimate graduation ceremony recipient.  Even though it was different, I was able to fulfil my lifelong dream of graduating and celebrating with my immediate family, thereby allowing me to make more memories,” said Mkhize.
