Seriously Old Dirt 2016 displays a vibrant plummy colour. Notes of Booysenberry, candied strawberry and bright cherry are accentuated by warm vanilla, baking spices and chocolate. This is followed by a lovely rich, savoury finish. The palate of this wine entices with a luscious mouth-feel and shows elegance without compromising complexity. Maturation in French oak barrique for twenty one months has elevated the wine with richness and full round tannins.

[divider]DeMorgenzon – Maestro Blue 2017[/divider]

This wine has notes of red and black berry fruit, white pepper and spice. The palate is finely structured, showing an array of ripe fruit and floral undertones, with a lingering aftertaste. These vineyards are situated on the farm DeMorgenzon in the Stellenboschkloof. Soils are mostly weathered granite which gives the resultant wines a natural exuberance and youthful vigour. The trellised vineyards are managed to ensure natural high acidity and full flavour concentration.

[divider]Vinologist – Cape Town Sauvignon Blanc 2019[/divider]

This Cape Town origin Sauvignon Blanc exemplifies the maritime region in which these vineyards abound. The nose is lively and zesty with its abundance of lime, gooseberry and greengage aromas. The palate is exceptionally round and smooth with flavours of ripe pear, melon, white peach and passion fruit following through. The wine is balanced with vibrant, yet integrated acidity. Apple blossom and hints of lemongrass linger on a fresh, clean, chalky finish.

[divider]Flagstone – Poetry 2019 Chenin Blanc[/divider]

Brilliant white gold with an aromatic bouquet with a combination of ripe melon and stewed pear. The wine offers refreshing green apple acidity combined with a touch of viscosity and explosion of pineapples. Creamy back palate supports the acidity. This Chenin Blanc is perfect with mild to spicy rice dishes, chicken salads, sushi and white meats.

[divider]CChampagne Nicolas Feuillatte Cuvee Palmes d’Or Brut Millesime 2006[/divider]

Dense and sensual, it offers a carnal caress, expression of the well defined maturity of the cuvée obtained by 9 years of patient ageing on laths of the bottles before disgorgement, in the cellars of the House. Gourmet and warm finish, underlined by the soft minerality and the silky effervescence. Endless length on the palate.
