The Lux Collective is proud to announce a series of prestigious accolades across its portfolio, reaffirming its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and advancing responsible tourism practices worldwide.
At the recent British Airways Holidays Customer Excellence Awards 2025, several of the Group’s properties were named among the top-rated hotels globally. Based on over 100,000 verified customer reviews collected in partnership with Feefo, the awards celebrate hotels that consistently deliver outstanding holiday experiences across key metrics, including excellence in service, cleanliness, location and sleep quality. Amongst the standout performers were LUX* South Ari Atoll in the Maldives, LUX* Belle Mare and Tamassa Bel Ombre in Mauritius. LUX* Grand Gaube, Mauritius was additionally honoured for 10 Years of Excellence. These distinctions come during the commemorative 70th anniversary of British Airways Holidays and its 10thanniversary of Customer Excellence Awards.

Further reinforcing its international appeal, The Lux Collective’s resorts were also highly rated by European travellers through HolidayCheck, Germany’s leading hotel review platform. Based entirely on verified guest reviews, Recommended On HolidayCheck 2026 accolades recognise the most popular hotels worldwide including LUX* Le Morne, SALT of Palmar and Tamassa Bel Ombre in Mauritius.
In addition, LUX* Marijani Zanzibar, the LUX* flagship brand’s boutique beachfront resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania had achieved a significant milestone, securing Silver Award at the WTM Africa Responsible Tourism Awards – marking its first recognition at a continental level. Presented in Cape Town, the awards recognised just 22 organisations across 13 countries for driving positive change and delivering measurable impact through sustainable tourism across Africa, in partnership with the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT).

LUX* Marijani Zanzibar was honoured in the Local Economic Benefit category, reflecting its commitment to embedding local suppliers into its value chain and supporting sustainable livelihoods within the community – from local fishermen and farmers to Zanzibar’s seaweed-farming communities and women’s cooperatives – and creating lasting economic impact within the region. It reinforces the resort’s deep commitment to responsible tourism, meaningful community engagement and The Lux Collective’s Circle of Care initiatives – ingrained in its daily operations.
“These global recognitions are testaments to the passion and dedication of our teams across all our properties,” says Olivier Chavy, Chief Executive Officer of The Lux Collective. “To see our efforts acknowledged by both our guests and industry partners is incredibly rewarding and inspires us to continue raising the bar as a global leader in luxury hospitality.”

These industry achievements reflect The Lux Collective’s unwavering dedication to creating meaningful, memorable experiences for guests, whilst continuously elevating standards across service, design and sustainability.
