One of the most hotly-anticipated TV shows of 2025 – the third season of The White Lotus – is coming to M-Net (DStv Channel 101) from 17 February. The series will be available Express from the US on M-Net, M-Net Prime Time at 9pm, DStv Catch Up, DStv Stream as well as Showmax.

Viewers who have heard all the well-deserved hype about the show, but haven’t had the chance to enjoy it, can also catch up on the first and second seasons on DStv Catch Up and Showmax before season three premieres.

The show follows the guests of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, who can’t escape their personal demons, even on luxury vacations. Add in a cast of employees with their own struggles and the two worlds collide – with sometimes funny, sometimes passionate and often murderous consequences.

The first season of the dramedy anthology series was intended to be a six-part limited series, but its incredible success led to instant commissions for further seasons.  Season one is set at the White Lotus resort in Hawaii and stars Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario and Sydney Sweeney. The second season was set at a resort in Sicily and adopted a more sinister tone, with Coolidge returning and the addition of F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Meghann Fahy, Tom Hollander and Leo Woodall.

The first two seasons opened with a shot of an unidentified dead body, setting up a mystery in the background that propels the story Creator Mike Wood explained to The Hollywood Reporter that while the first season had a passionate relationship at its core and the second was driven by money, the third season will be a “satirical and funny look at death and eastern religion and spirituality.”

Season 3’s returning character is season one star Natasha Rothwell, joined by Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan and Parker Posey, amongst others. The show’s storylines are a closely guarded secret, but what creator & writer Mike White has revealed so far is that Carrie Coon (Laurie), Michelle Monaghan (Jaclyn) and Leslie Bibb (Kate) play three long-time friends on a girls’ trip after not having seen each other for a while.

Jason Isaacs plays Timothy Ratliff, a wealthy businessman vacationing with his wife Victoria (Parker Posey) and their three children played by Patrick Schwarzenegger (Saxson), Sarah Catherine Hook (Piper) and Sam Nivola (Lochlan). Saxson is the eldest son who works for his father’s successful company, Piper is the college senior and middle child who is a religion studies major and Lochlan (Nivola) is the youngest, a high school senior. Walton Goggins plays Rick Hatchett, a rugged man with a chip on his shoulder who is traveling with his free-spirited girlfriend Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood).

The first two seasons of The White Lotus were included on the American Film institute’s list of the ten best programs of 2021 and 2022 and it received a huge number of awards, including 15 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.
