The sensational, fun-filled third season of The Masked Singer South Africa kicks off on Saturday, 4 July at 19:00 in its new home on SABC 2.  While everyone is waiting with bated breath to see how sixteen A-list celebrities set the stage alight, trying to hide their identities from the show’s distinguished detectives – Somizi Mhlongo, J’Something, Sithelo Shozi and Skhumba – the lid has been lifted on some of the Masks who will have everyone speculating this season.

Meet Leopard, Spotty, Mosquito, Lady Monster, Pineapple, Spinach, Protea and Koeksister, and start guessing who they are.

Leopard isn’t one to blend into the background. Cool under pressure and bursting with confidence, this big cat knows exactly how to make a grand entrance and get a crowd roaring.

Like Leopard, Spotty thrives in the spotlight, turning every appearance into an unforgettable event. But the friendly, playful, cuddly Spotty pooch is also no stranger to bouncing into hearts.

Mosquito creates a buzz everywhere, anywhere. This impossible-to-ignore high-flying entertainer is bold and brilliant, with a way of getting everyone’s attention and keeping it.

When it comes to Lady Monster, don’t be fooled by the name. This lovable creature lives life at full volume and is known for having a big personality, va-va-voom and stealing the show.

However, Spinach has a bit of a reputation and doesn’t veg out in the face of controversy. Spinach just turns over a new leaf, proves people wrong and continues to grow and say it as it is.

But on the sweet, fruity side, Pineapple knows it is best to let the music do the talking with a voice that has fans swooning. This Pineapple is friendly, warm-hearted and full of personality.

Meanwhile, representing Mzansi’s national flower, the elegant, stylish Protea always stands tall. Protea is strong, impossible to overlook, and has an air of confidence, resilience, and pride.

Then, there’s also Koeksister, another Mzansi icon, with a personality behind the Mask that is difficult to untangle. However, that’s precisely what Koeksister prefers. This golden favourite is always ready with a clever comeback and has a knack for keeping people intrigued.

In The Masked Singer South Africa Season 3, every little detail counts. Valuable clues are hidden in the Masks’ appearances, their song choices, the way they move, and their interactions with the show’s suave Men and Ladies in Black in cryptic clue packages. Blink, and you might miss it!

And that’s why you can’t miss a moment of this crazy, spectacular song-and-dance extravaganza, shrouded in mystery and brimming with fun for the whole family.

Mpho Popps once again leads the investigation as the show’s witty host, and through the course of the season, some familiar and beloved famous faces will also pop up as guest detectives.

The Masked Singer South Africa Season 3 is produced by Rose and Oaks Media for Primedia Studios, and is sponsored by Andolex, King Pie and Mentos.
