Le Parc, the Parisian-inspired food emporium by Tashas Group, opened its second location at Polofields Crossing, Waterfall City on 28 July 2026. The original Hyde Park location introduced Johannesburg to the fabulous, fashionable joie de vivre spirit of Paris. Le Parc Polofields brings that same spirit to one of the city’s fastest-growing neighbourhoods, with the warmth, Parisian sensibility and love of beautiful food that define Le Parc.

At Polofields, the experience evolves. A generous outdoor garden, boules court and dinner offering allow Le Parc to move naturally from day into evening, creating more reasons to linger and making it as suited to a morning coffee as it is to dinner with friends.

Le Parc was built around a simple idea: to bring the best parts of Parisian daily life together under one roof: the neighbourhood cafe where everyone knows your name, the bakery with warm bread fresh from the oven, the flower market overflowing with colour, the little boutique filled with thoughtful discoveries all inspired the Le Parc experience. At Polofields, the restaurant, bakery and Retail Emporium come together in one beautifully considered destination, inviting guests to linger over breakfast, browse for flowers, take home a fresh sourdough, or simply pause for coffee and something sweet. In the evening the space comes into its own as a proper dinner destination for the community.

The food continues the French-inspired all-day menu Le Parc is known for: classic dishes interpreted with a contemporary touch, artisan baking and handcrafted patisserie, including the exclusive collection by award-winning pastry chef Jared Melamed of La Tarte Patisserie, which is available only at Le Parc.

The Polofields menu also introduces Le Swirl, Le Parc’s playful take on soft serve. Velvety vanilla ice cream is swirled with berry compote, lemon curd, caramel or chocolate, then finished with toppings such as fudge, honeycomb brittle and toasted oat crumble. Inspired by familiar favourites including lemon meringue tart, chocolate cake and salted caramel honeycomb, each creation is comforting, nostalgic and irresistibly moreish.

The Retail Emporium brings the same carefully curated collection that guests have come to love at Hyde Park: artisanal pantry favourites, fresh seasonal flowers, beautiful home and kitchenware, coffee-table books and freshly baked breads, all thoughtfully selected to bring a little beauty to everyday life.

Opening in Waterfall City feels like a natural next step for Le Parc. We’re excited to bring our little corner of Paris to this vibrant community, with everything that makes Hyde Park so special – beautiful food, the bakery, flowers, the emporium and now dinner too. We can’t wait for the people of Polofields to make it their own,”says Natasha Sideris, CEO & Founder of Tashas Group., The Polofields opening marks the second chapter in Le Parc’s expansion across South Africa, with a Cape Town location in Mouille Point set to follow later in 2026.

Le Parc Polofields opened on 28 July 2026 at Shop 40, Polofields Crossing, Polofields Drive, Waterfall City, Midrand.
