Treat yourself to High Tea at the Wild Coast Sun, an afternoon classic tradition which the perfect antidote to the stressful times we are living through as the world fights the pandemic. Served every Saturday in the tropical-themed Lagoon Bar, relax over a cup of tea or coffee while chatting to friends or family.

A delectable buffet is served in the Lagoon Bar featuring a selection of pastries and cakes including caramel cake, cupcakes, chocolate eclairs, scones, and lemon crunch.

Those who prefer savoury nibbles are also catered to, with spoils like samosas, chicken roulade, a selection of wraps, smoked salmon balls, and of course, when in season, the ultimate High Tea item of strawberries and fresh cream.

Tea is served with a selection of Ceylon, Rooibos teas and other speciality teas or coffee.

Due to Covid-19 health and safety protocol, all visitors to the hotel must book in advance and undergo a screening at the resort entrance upon arrival.

Towards the end of 2020, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa upgraded Sun International’s only beachfront resort to four stars in the hotel category, following recent upgrades and improvements.

Located just 5km from Port Edward, the resort straddles the border between KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape provinces. It is a two-hour drive from Durban’s King Shaka International Airport.
