Menlyn Park Shopping Centre presents the first interactive augmented reality display and a one of its kind experience, this July School Holidays.
The AR experience is inspired by the remake of Disney’s Lion King movie, the 1994 original’s 2-D animation is set to be released in July, South Africa. Menlyn Park Shopping centre has partnered with Nu-Metro to create awareness to consumers about the release of the movie. As consumers interact with AR experience at Menlyn Sky, Nu-Metro will be onsite allowing consumers to sign up to be the first to find out when tickets will be available for the movie.
This amazing experience brings objects that reside in the real-world enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, is made available at Menlyn Park Shopping centre this winter holiday season; a time when families get together and enjoy much necessary family time. “We are ensuring that we are keeping up with the changing world, through this innovative AR experience at Menlyn.‘’ says Olive Ndebele General Manager at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre
The interaction between live animals and sounds will be an exciting yet informative time for the kids to be involved in. While still being able to refer to their favourite Lion King movie. This experience will allow everyone to be involved and have a fun-filled time. This amazing activation will be running from Friday 21st June until 8th July, families are able to enjoy the fun throughout the school holidays.
This experience allows for children to interact with the digital experience, while they are on holiday their minds are encouraged to not stop learning at the ‘’African Savana’’ experience in Menlyn Sky.
